Hi, my wife yesterday decided to fill our 20 liter tank with a Siamese fighting fish. But the tank looks really empty, is there any fish that I can put in the tank with it? Or Will it kill off other fish????
Compatible fish with Betta fish??

20L is about 5 US gallons.
You can't put any other fish IMO but you could try shrimp and snails. Some bettas will eat shrimp, others won't.

TBH I don't think tank mates are ever needed with a Betta, they are amazingly attractive fish that are active enough to keep the owner happy.
Plus with the ability to learn tricks I think they rank as one of the best fish to own!
