Thanks. I'm working on the other growbed tomorrow weather-permitting. I have to go get about 1000lbs of pea gravel to fill it in.

Do you have to perform water changes with all of the plants?

No. But I do dose liquid kelp since the system is still new.

I dose my system with seaweed extract, new ap systems need a Lot of help the first season.

Last summer I did okay without dosing, but the fish were also half the size they are now. I went on vacation and my neighbor forgot to feed them so the plants suffered heavily and never really recovered.

The barrels were really cool, they rotate slowly and dip the roots in nutrient rich water.

I've been harvesting cucumbers and peppers, still waiting on tomatoes. If my water was heated I probably would have tomatoes by now. My beans seem to be doing alright. I'm mainly growing them for seed though.

Nice. ive directed my overflow to my herb garden planted around my 2 tier container pond. Theyve perked up nicely since this.
