I've been contemplating the idea of getting some shrimp. My question is, how deadly would 0.001% copper in plant ferts be to shrimp?

What are some copper free ferts out there?

Aqua, that level of Cu is ok... I have used Seachem Flourish, Leafzone, and florapride in tanks with FW shrimp (amanos, ghost, RCS) in the past, and never had an issue--and all 3 have traces of Cu.

Granted, Cu and Shrimp is a bad combo, but it is hard to find a trace fert that doesn't have at least those tiny levels of Cu in them. The danger becomes using meds that have high levels of copper, which will kill inverts quickly.

Didn't know that Jim, thanks! Learn something new every day on here.
