Coralife t5 light question?

You can keep the 10K, but replace the actinic with a 6500-6700K for plants.

Technically you could probably use the current bulbs but med light plants will enjoy a 6500k along with the 10k.. I've heard if people growing plants with the blue bulbs..
 
WPG doesn't have the same usefulness for freshwater. It depends on what plants you want to grow and the PAR levels at the depth the plant will be. Two T5's should be enough on a 30g for "medium light" plants.

If you go any higher light than you're currently at than you will need co2 or a lot of liquid carbon and ferts.. Is it a 30 long? How tall is it?
