Is it a 55 (48" x 12" footprint) or 50 breeder (36" x 18" footprint)?
If it's a 55, I don't think it's a good deal. Petco has a sale a couple of times a year where you can get the tank for $55 new. The UG filter and screen top don't add much value to me.
If it's a 50 breeder, see if you can get him down to $50. They are harder to find and are (IMO) easier to decorate and have more surface area per gallon.
Having said al that, you are in Alaska, so I'm not sure what kind of access you ahve to stuff versus the contiguous 48.
But he kept talking about the tank and accessories. So I let him finish expecting him to say about 2 or 3 thousand. Then he says $300 for all. Heres the list, 200 gallon in wall (black back and sides with no stand), 60 gallon sump, sequencer pump, aqua medic 5000 shorty skimmer, 1/3 hp chiller, 2 400 watt MH lights with 3 t12, octopus monitor and hoses. Needless to say I said I'm on the way. While driving to pick it up I asked the wife if she wanted to go for a larger SW system. To make matters more complicated I had just moveed my 180 FW into the wall in the dinning room. So my greatest find now resides there.
