Craigslist Good Finds

I posted this somewhere else but this is what I bought off craigslist for only $150 the owner didn't take care of it and I had to do a lot of cleaning

36 gallon glass bow front aquarium

Coralife dual 130 watt 30" compact fluorescent light fixture with a 10000k 65 watt bulb and a 420 bulb
The 420 was burned out and I had to replace one of the fans

brand new coralife digital power center

Coralife 65 super skimmer but it has a different pump that is very noisy so I am using the needle wheel pump to mix my saltwater and not using the skimmer

Penguin bio wheel 200 the impeller is messed up so I ordered a new filter

A bucket of dried rock and a bucket of sand.

Battery powered air pump, fish net, thermometer, custom feeder made out of plastic screen material and a old magnetic cleaner

A stealth heater which was recalled so the company sent me a new 150 watt marineland visi therm heater

Hydor magnetic base circulation pump

I just got done cycling it

Just picked up a 150 with stand, heater and fluval 404, and a decent 48' strip light all for $150. Clearly not gonna use the same filter and light for the aquarium but it should work nicely as more filtration on my 75.

I got my 110 gallon with solid wood stand, 2 filters, 2 heaters, hoods, 2 lights and a few extras for $300 off Craigslist, brand new. We brought it home and I priced all of it out and it was almost $1k in "stuff", $200 in filters and media alone. Needless to say, I will never buy an entire setup from the local store again (well unless I absolutely have to!). They even helped us load it up!

Well.....the 100g's turned out to be 125's and they also had tons of smaller tanks and stands. 30 tanks 15 stands and lids for everything. Total price..............

$350
