Nerite snail eggs don't hatch in fw. They can only be bred in SW. In fw, the eggs simply disappear/disintegrate into the water.

So I'v had two nerites for about a week and they've been eating non stop! It really is amazing just how much these little guys eat.
I did have one apparently burrow since I searched everywhere and couldn't find it only to have it appear a few min later on the gravel.
