So I went crayfishing recently at my local creek and decided to do a little fishing as well, I caught a multitude of these large minnows with black stripes along their bodies. I decided to put some in my 2 gallon natives tank along with my baby bluegill and baby sunfish. Afterwards I did some research on the fish and the only name I could find for them was "Creek Chub". Ive seen many different pics of CC's and many look VERY different, so, I guess there are different species all under the same name?
Ive had them for about 2 weeks now and the are wonderful pets, imagine 6 inch-long danios.....pretty awesome B), but I havent been able to find a lot of info on them other than that they are commonly used as catfish bait (I use them pretty fluently as bait too). anyone have any experience with these fish they would like to share?
