Cuc help please

I my trigger and dragon wrasse went to town on my snails and hermit crabs. Please help this new guy with researching another sand sifting fish to help with my very deep sand bed. As of know my livestock is as follows.

1.blonde naso tang
2.bristletooth tomini tang
3.cardinal fish
4.fox face
5.juvi dragon wrasse
6.starry trigger
7.watchman goby

All fish are 2.5 inch to 4 inches and I have a 300 gallon on order with all the bells and whistles to be delivered on nov 20. Please advise so I can research with my 12 year old son.

Since you have a bit of aggressive fish, you can take your chance on getting a decent size horseshoe crab, but you will have to stay cautious. Or: recently I bought a Red Coris Wrasse. Amazing and Beautiful!!!! They are kind of ugly as juveniles, but become one of the most amazing looking fish as they mature. They do a great job sifting the sand. They are considered aggressive, so you don't have to worry about it getting picked on. They borrow in the sand to sleep. It fascinating watching them go in, and just as cool to watch them come out to feed. One of the best fish I've ever purchased. I will send a pic of mine. The colors at that of a Harlequin Tusk.

Oh, by the way, its awesome how you have your son involved with the aquarium hobby! My two boys started their own tank, I let them pick what they wanted, as long as it was compatible. By the end only the younger one kept an interest, but it was great, helping them do it!
