cycling 20g fishless

I have been cycling my tank since monday, added ammonia a little crushed up fishie food, lowered my water level for bubbles, temp is about 84, I didn't think anything would change for a while but checking this morning my ph has dropped it was about 7.6 originally (had to use high ph test) now it looks about 7 did I do something wrong?

pH swings are common during a cycle, once your tank is cycled just make sure before you add fish the pH is stable

So I don't need to worry if it drops further? Just leave it alone until fish time?
