Danios

I would like to breed danios. But there is a problem. I can't fit a screen on the bottom for it is a 10g bow front. Is there any other way I could keep them from eating there eggs with out using a layer of marbles?

If they're all in one area, get a plastic cup, put some teeny holes in it and sit it ontop of them.

Do you have any substrate in the tank? Gravel will work.

I have a very fine gravel. But how will I tell when there are eggs and fry? Tim? Could you please explain further? Thanks for the replies guys!

I just mean covering the eggs with something the fish can't get through. Even if there's space for the fish to get in there you will cut down on the eaten eggs by just putting something in the way. Danios are pretty fast fish though, so when the fry are free swimming they may still get eaten...
