Hello!

I've recently taken over my friend's 20 gallon tank, which came with 9 neon tetras, 4 Oto catfishes, and 2 Amano shrimps. The tank was in a sorry state for many months, but I think I've made good headway on the cleanup.

The current tank setup (plants, soil) is about 2 weeks old. The neons have been in there for about a year, and the Otos have been added maybe a month before I got the tank. Not too sure with the shrimps.

I just need some assistance on figuring out what's going on with a couple of these neons. About half of them have sunken stomachs, and then there is this guy who looks like he has fish scoliosis (pic attached).

They are being fed pre-soaked freshwater flakes and bloodworms every other day.

Is this a contagious condition? Should I worry about it spreading to the Otos? Are there any treatments/is the tank population locked until these guys pass and the tank contents are replaced?

Thank you for any assistance :)
