Difference between altos

What are the key differences between altos compressiceps and altos calvus? Is one more or less likely to eat any and all eggs or fry my tank might contain? Does one make a friendlier community tank inhabitant, particularly with little guys like multies? Other tank mates might be cyps, gobies, julies, and peacocks (I know I'm mixing lakes).

Calvus are darker in color, and have taller/longer fins. They grow about the same size, but the calvus is more aggressive. They will both eat fry if they get the chance. I would suggest alto comp because they are more laid back.

I have both and even at barely 2inches the calvus is more aggressive ... they all devour fry for sure thats kinda what they do in the wild .. i just had 2 females spit a good amount of fry n between my 3 comps n 1calvus plus the other tankmates i had not 1 survivor but thats why i have them
