Like the title says i'm doing some automation on my aquarium.
I'm still thinking of what its actualy gona do.
(not putting this in the diy section cause this is for cichlids only)

I'm not gona do any automatic PH,... value adjusments cause it simply costs to much.

Now i have a switch AUTO/do nothing/MANUAL and 3 push buttons
With the push button i can controll things in manual mode
The plc's build in clock for my lights (or other stuff)

A STC 1000 Temperature Controller
Cooling Heating Temperature Controller + Sensor STC-1000 220V 10A Thermostat | eBay
Its kinda crap because its working range is + or -0.3°C And imo thats not spot on!
ATM my water with the thermostat from the heater is 25°C spot on.
So i only use it as a warning for low temp and a power supply cut off when the heater would be broken.

Ive rewired a multiple socket box or whatever you call it so i can control the output with the plc.

Next things on my list:
Make a DIY automatic feeder (wich i dont like but can be handy for fry in a breeder net)
A powerhead like in saltwater tanks (for cleaning up poop and entertainment purposes)

Would anyone know any cool stuff to do with it?
