i want to get some moss balls that will help feed fry. i heard java moss has infrosia but petsmart doesnt have these. i think the have marimo moss balls or something. do they still have infrosia on them?:thanks:

It is my understanding that marimo ball does harbor infusoria, but I'm not 100% positive.

They do. Pretty much all plants do to some extent. I always see my shrimp pecking at the moss balls, like java moss it is a gunk magnet.

Java moss is definitely one of the best though.

There's several writeups online if you google them. I use a regular 2L coke bottle and an airline/air pump for my brine shrimp.

Microworms are much simpler to culture, you can keep them in pretty much any small container with a lid on it, I prefer using clear gladware containers so I can see how many worms are ready for harvesting.
