Dry Rock From BRS Question

Maybe it's just me but it seems like these rocks are dissolving lol. Every day I notice holes that wasn't there 2 days ago. And when I blast the rocks with the turkey baster, a white powder comes from the holes. Anyone experience this also?

Yea its normal its old dried sediment and organic matter if you cure the rock prior to use it normally remedies the issues....
