Ok, so our 3 gallon eclipse, AKA fry tank is in need of a bottom dweller/algae eater. What kind of fish can we have in there that will be safe for the fry? I know I cant have a pleco, what can I put in there, that wont eat the fry?

Three gallons is kind of small. It doesn't leave a whole lot of room for anything that would really eat a whole lot of algae. A snail might be an option, but it would be spotty at best, leaving snail trails throughout the algae. I'm speaking in regards to Mystery Snails. Nerite snails are supposed to be big time algae munchers. I saw some at Frank's Aquarium and they're nicely priced if you want to pick up a few other items from him.

an otto cat would work

an otto cat would work great in your tank i have the same tank but its a puffer tank
