I have a 75 gal that the filter is going out on. Was thinking of replacing it with one of those in the title. Would like to hear from the experts

2262 all the way, as the pro series just are not built as well as the classic series, and ive read about too many people having problems with the pros and going back to the classic.

though a 2262 seems awfully big for a 75 gallon.

id go with the 2217 myself for that tank

Agreed with above poster.....classic all the way! I run a classic 2215 on my 55 gal, and a 2213 on my 35 gallon. Wouldnt trade em for anything! :)

I have the 2080 running on a 55g & it's a great filter & do believe these werent the problems ones. The other model forgot which one had some issues but were solved... I think it was an o-ring problem. The 2262 is very big filter and pushing a lot of water out...try find some video on the water flow on that beast.
