EMERGENCY! I just put in too much Lugol's Iodine Solution!!!

I have a port jackson shark and panther grouper. I just put in about 3x more than normal Lugol's Solution by accident. I thought it was something else and wasn't paying attention.

Right now I have the protein skimmer and removed the Chemi Pure because I'm treating the water with a Red Slime Remover.

What do I do to get the Iodine out? Shall I turn the protein skimmer on again and put the chemi pure back in?!?!?


PLEASE HELP!

My first thought would be to do a PWC, a pretty good sized one. I don't know anything about what you are adding to your tank but that would make sense to me. Hope everything is ok!!!!

My suggestion would be to do a 25% PWC and in a few days do another one. Did you know that PWC`s will give you all the iodine you need. Unless you have a super load of inverts then I would not even dose iodine. I hope all goes well.
