Emperor angel growth rate

Just wondering how long it takes from juvenile to changing to adult coloration.

Depends on age, tank size, diet and maintenance. I've seen huge juveniles and smaller adults so no telling exactly. But it's neat to watch the change. The fish gets some real crazy patterns in it as it changes.

I would say it's about 2 inches right now.
In a 220g tank.
Weekly 33g water changes.
Various hob and canister filters.
200 lbs of rock.

Still too small. Diet is going to be key. As varied as you can do will help the fish mature in a timely manner. Patience Enjoy the circles, ( until they become lines. )
