Hi everybody,

I want toget a medium size hammer at a LFS sale tomm, but wanted opinions on my lighting.

I am running a 12 gallon fluval edge. I have the stock LEDs augmented by two ecopico LED strips, one 10k white and one 453nm blue.

The hammer would be on the substrate.

My zoas are doing great, but how would a hammer do?

Thanks,
Jeff

Without knowing too much on the wattage I can tell you that your hammer coral should do fine since your zoas are doing OK.

I have kept Hammer coral with very low LED light and it did well.
It shrinks when the lights are off and doubles its size after a few hours that the light is on.
