Enough water Agitation?

I'd fill it up higher, you'll get more water movement, and more space for everyone
 
That should be enough agitation, especially with the lights. However, it might be smart to add an airstone that is set to run when your lights go off, CO2 tends to spike at night and shrimp like highly oxygenated water.
 
It should be enough for snails and shrimp.

I see. Yes I like the idea. Specially its heavily planted. I have some spare air pumps and stones in storage. Just tank is very small and I don't like bubbles in tank but I like your idea to turn on at night. Thanks a lot.
