No problem. I actually try to get it back into the tank. It's just dried salt from salt spray and will have little affect on your sg levels either way.
It`s called salt creep. I try to get it up but sometimes a little will fall back in. As Micah said it wont matter much for fish. I would probably want to keep it from falling on corals though because of the caustic effect.
Good point about the corals. Typically salt creep is near the edges of the tank and corals are usually not in the direct path but it's something to keep in mind if you have corals placed near the edges.
