I have so many of these things in my tank. Are too many bad? They all seem to be just an average feather duster, nothing fancy like the big ones people actually buy to add to their tanks. I wouldn't be able to just "kill" them and rip them off my live rock because I'm such a softy when it comes to any life :) But how can I get rid of them? It seems as though I've had a "population boom". I don't know if it looks good or bad. The calcium hollow that they live in makes my tank look "un kept".

The only way I know to get rid of them would be manual removal. I don't think you can really have too many. They are beneficial to your reef system.
