feeding fish fruit, have I gone mad!?

I want to try and feed the community....banana! Is this okay??

One betta, five albino pristella tetras, 10 red cherry shrimp is what I care for currently

Yeah, banana is fine. Some fish like it.

I feed fruit but i have never tried banana. Watermelon & tangerine orange segments seem to be my guys favorite!
