There is a holding female crabro at my lfs. She is being harassed to death by the other (young male im assuming). Thinking about buying it and putting it in my qt till she spits, then putting her in the dt. Anyone see anything wrong with me just adding 1 female? Do they have aggression problems like the males?

Pseudotropheus crabro? Aka bumblebee cichlid. IME the females arenot quite as agressive as mature males. If you think your others wont be aggresive toward her then go for it!

Yeah crabro, Idk where the "i" came from, it was late. It would be one of the bigger fish in the tank and my mbuna are relatively laid back. I may give it a go. Anyone else had xp w the females?
