I'm setting up a 20gal Fiddler Crab tank and have begun cycling it, but I was wondering if the crabs would be alright if I introduced them before the water was completely cycled? It's been going for about a week now, with about 3gal of water in the tank. It's a part water-part land set up and I've heard that Fiddlers spend most of their time on the land. Because of this I thought it might be alright to introduce them before the cycling was completed. My nitrites are spiking right now (5+ppm) and my ammonia (.25ppm) appears to be on the down side.

I'd love to hear what you guys think, thanks!
