I still havgo with the undergravel filter should i start getting power filters, ive had some good and bad luck with it.

I'd definitely recommend the power filter. I forgot the size tank that you mentioned in the other thread (think it was a 40 though) but I'd go for the Emperor 280 and once it's established (read cycled) I'd get rid of the UGF just because it's a hassle. Basically, a quick and simple teardown.
