Fire red bosemani rainbows?

Just been to my LFS and they have these in stock, they say I could have 6 of these in my 43 gallon tank as they won't get as big as normal bosemanis. I've reserved 6 for a week til I do done research on them, but all I can find is one page that says they may be bosemanis crossed with something else, all very vague.

In the LFS they looked like a pale version of normal bosemanis, which could be due to age or cos they're not settled, so I couldn't really tell what they'd look like.

Does anyone have any experience with these fish?

They do look good don't they, I'd love to have bosemanis, I think they're gorgeous fish so really hope I can have these!

From doing some quick digging it sounds like you are right some type of crossbreed

Shame there's not more info about them, I'd hate to get them then find they're similar in size to normal bosemanis and have to rehome them. I may just err on the side of caution and stay clear, but they are gorgeous though!!
