First attempt need feedback please

Any advice this is my first planted tank. What do you guys think? I was thinking of maybe adding a couple more, would that be overkill?

I think your tank looks great! Weather or not to add more plants that is completely your choice.

It's all about what you think looks good. My tanks are not heavily painted, and they do look decent.

The first is a 10 gallon. The second is a 29

Thanks., I was thinking of the corner heavy for the small schooling fish to hide in. I was thinking of something else small maybe with so color any recommendations.

I was also told by a few people to make sure the carbon is out of the filter, other people tell me no need (currently no carbon)
