The "grass" on teh right needs to be split which I will probably do on Thursday when I do my water change. I like to do any cutting or splitting while I do my water changes. Basically Thursday anything that needs to be cut gets trimmed right before the water change. After that they get their ferts :D
 
not to bad. i would move the heater down closer to the filter intake to hide it some. maybe adjust some of the bigger plants in front to the back.
 
looks pretty good. You really do need a background.

Layer you plants some and it will look much better.
 
The HOB looks like one I used to have from 15+ years ago, Whipser power filter? Mine lost the seal where the pump screws in and I couldn't fix it, had to pitch. Got a new one, the pump is now in the tank (sealed) and pushes the water up a tube into the chamber, much safer design IMHO you might want to check it out...
 
Looks good needs background.Once the background plants fill in and get bigger will look great.
