fish and their waste (???)

I introduced 2 platies to the tank a Mickey Mouse and a Sunburst. The MM platy has had various amounts of crap coming out since I put him in........Is there such thing as fish diarrhea or is this typical of platies? He is otherwise behaving fine and swimming all around.

has any of the "crap" been white or longer that the size of this fish?

No, it looks normal and has been no longer than 3/4", he is about 1.5"

I saw him rubbing it against a rock to break it off....now he has another small piece coming out.

I am confused? Is it the amount or the type that you are worried about? If its volume then I would say this is normal... my platies are big producers. But if it looks strange then you might want to keep an eye on it. What have they eaten?

Don't feed him for a few days.....sounds like he had a few too many large meals.

I was more curious than concerned, though I wanted to check here....I was curious about the voume...He had it coming out almost non stop for about the first 2 hours he was in the tank.

He is fine now.
