I think they look like a sunfish. I don't know, but it might be a balloon variety of maybe a green terror? I don't know, I'm not that good with my aggressive SA cichlids. I can barely tell an oscar from a jack dempsey...

Definitely not, imo. Convicts have a slightly different body shape, and are a completely different color.

I'm thinking it may be a Hybrid. There are a ton of mutt convict crosses around.

If you google Convict Cichlid hybrid a ton of fish come up.

Have you seen a black Convict ?

I'm positive it's not a convict of any sort. I'm leaning towards bb or pearsi.
