Hi, I actually posted here for help with my new 29 gallon tank a few days ago. I received a few replies, but was hoping for more. Well here goes: Saturday 3/15 I set up my new tank, added water from the tap, decorations and some gravel from my already established 55 gallon tank. I added some Seachem Prime and let it run for 24 hours. On Sunday 3/16 I added my 4 Tetras (2 red eyed and 2 black skirt). They are the sole survivors of the 55 gallon after having nipped everyone else to death. (I now know that this is because I had to few). On 3/16 my water parameters were: Ammonia 4.0, Nitrites 0, Nitrates 0 and PH 7.6.
On 3/18 - Ammonia 1.0, Nitrites 0, Nitrates 0 and PH 6.0. On 3/19 am- Ammonia 1.0, Nitrite .25, Nitrate 0 and PH 7.6. On 3\19 - pm after 50% water change Ammonia 1.0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 0, PH 6.0. Also my tap water tests at 1.0. AM I on the right track?
Btw I am keeping a close eye on my fish, they are doing fine. No signs of stress. I appreciate any and all replies! Thanks!
