Hi,
I've recently put a preformed pond in the garden the plan was just to keep it as a nature pond.
It's been in for about a month and a half, I found yesterday about 7/8 fish fry in the pond, the only way I can think they got in there is that there eggs were attached to the plants. Do any one know what they could be? Could I keep some in a separate tank and keep them do you think? I want to find out what they are!
Thanks

Here's (hopefully) a pic to give you more of an idea!

I can't tell the species from the photo.

I have had small gambusia stick to plants. Sort of a surface tension thing.

Let them grow a bit and see if you can I'd them.

Had you PUT fish in the pond? If so then you did things to their liking.

If not: Did you transfer native plants or purchase them? If native plant transfer I would say you transfered some eggs or a 'coon has washed its catch from someplace and you now have expelled egg/young.

Either way enjoy the "natural nativeness" you did it well!!!!
