Fish like music?

Do you guys think fish can hear music in the room they are in? Well today I put my iPhones speakers on near the tank and they all seemed to go near the speakers and look at them. I guess my fish like to listen to music. Also I do play music really often and really loud.

Interesting thing about fish, they don't hear like we do. Their sensitivity to sound differs from species to species. It depends on the proximity of the inner ear to the swim bladder.

So, while some fish are quite sensitive to sound and you need to be cautious, others wouldn't necessarily mind your choice of music.
