hello

my red rainbow and boesmani rainbow seem to be a little agressive today and run after each other constantly. are they playing? can this be harmful and stressful to them?

thanks

69gallon freshwater
fluval 304 filter
plastic plants

2 rosy barbs
1 red torpedo barb
2 blue jack demphseys
1 white molly
1 red rainbow
1 boesmani rainbow
2 clown loaches

Is there any nipping going on? It can be stressful for fish when aggression occurs. Yours may just be playing. Do they make contact or just chase? Is there hiding places in the tank?

no nipping. yes they r making contact and there are quiet and hidden corners in the tank

they've been there for a year now. maybe im just paranoying for nothing!!!they also kinda stick to each other side by side for few seconds at a time.....

you know what, before my red rainbow started to get agressive towards my boemani there is one thing different that i did. i gave my fish a new food: tetra microcrab- cyclopeeze granules. could that have done anything? they seem to love the food!!!

thanks
