Hey Guys,

So the past few days i have been traveling, my mum was visiting so she was home and was able to keep an eye on the Discus tank. However the airpump seemed to have died and because of that no air was being pumped in over night it seemed. Mum texted me saying 1 Discus died and all of the fish were ontop.. Had a backup airpump so got her to attach that immediately. Lost a total of 6 =(

Anyone ran into this issue before and have a backup plan for it incase an airpump dies?

Thanks!

I always suggest running two or more filters (canisters in my case) just in case (if you can possible do it). I do have a battery powered air-pump just in case.
