Hi there guys,

Just want to find out if you guys can see a problem with my fish list for a 30gal FOWLR tank.

1 Blue Surgeonfish (Dory)
2 x Clowns (Nemo)
1 Damsel

This is all I will have in my tank and later on a few softies.

The surgeon will be much to large for a tank that small. The damsel is also probably a bad idea(they can be jerks) You could do 2 clowns, a firefish, and a royal gramma, that would be nice little 30 gal.

I agree skip the tang. There are no tangs suited for a 30g tank.

I agree with the others. Sorry, but a 30gal is way too small for a hippo tang. You would for sure end up stressing the fish which will lead to disease and parasitic infection, thus, destroy your entire tank.

I also agree about the tang. Dont know about the clowns either. I have two and they scrap some even in my 125

x2 clowns, royal gramma, and perhaps a pistol/goby combo.. plus a few other inverts may be a good idea..
