What would be the best way to remove the orange colored flat worms from a 75gal fowlr tank. I hear that the can reproduce very quickly. I seen a product called flat worm exit. Is this safe for my fish? Thanks -Josh
There is a product like you mentioned. You have to have plenty of SW for PWC`s and some GAC to make sure the water is OK. This stuff does a good job on them but when they die they release a toxin that the PWC and GAC can neutrolize. Other ways of getting rid of them are siphoning them out during PWC`s and wrasses like the yellow coris or sixline wrasses.
Certain blue damsels will eat them. I saw them clear out two store tanks that were infested. It was a about 10 years ago so I forget the exact type of damsel. A google search should tell you.
