Flower

Hi I have an Anubius. I have been watching this what I thought was going to be a leaf. It opened today. I have a beautiful white flower. It looks like a Peace Flower that is not an aquarium flower.

Yes they flower. It's awesome when they do!!!
Unfortunately if it doesn't make it past the surface it'll only survive for a short time. Probably a few days to a week. Pretty while it lasts though.

Yeah that happens sometimes too. They're supposed to make it to air but our aquariums are usually far too deep!
I've had a couple of blooms and they looked just like that. Love it while it lasts, I wish they did it more often or they reached out of the tank that would be cool.

I have a good light on the tank. I use Flourish,XL and Synthosis for fertilizer. But I also have sub straight that has all of that in there also.
