I have a 4" flowerhorn male and a 4" male Red Devil.. I have them separated right now but can they live their whole lives together in a 120 gal?

I doubt it. Is it a 6 foot tank? Doubt it wood even work in a 6 footer without a divider

I think it's pretty hard to find a meaner cichlid than a flowerhorn and red devil. They are the most aggressive, up there with Midas and Dovii.

I think you'd need a 200g minimum or a 8-10 foot tank to keep them as adults, and even then I'm not too sure of it. They are commonly kept solo in 55-125s for a reason.

Pick one, rehome the other. Won't work. And to keep a divider in there for their whole lives you would want at least an 8 foot tank so they each have 4 feet. That's even small. 10 foot tank would be better for a permanent divider.
