Hey guys
What is this foam growing ontop of my water?
All parameters are perfect nitrates are a tad high around 20ppm but doing a water change tomorrow!
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

I think it's a protein layer. Can't recall the exact term atm. My smaller tank had it when I had a betta a couple of years ago, didn't do any harm though it's unsightly to look at. You can blot it with paper towels.
It can form when there isn't enough surface movement. I was starting to get it in my big tank and added in a bubbler to break the surface tension, haven't seen a sight of it since.

Yess i think its deffinetely that i removed apart of my filter which created surface movement and replaced it with one with less flow, and just noticed water is very still, thanks soo much man
