Food for Convicts

Hey guys,

Just picked up a Convict from my friend today, it seems to be juggling itself around in my tank. What can I feed it? I know it's an omnivore, so it'll need both meat and vegetables. Can I feed small pieces of raw beef? How about cooked beef? And what type of veggies do they prefer?

I wouldn't bother with raw/cooked beef.

You're best off feeding freshwater/cichlid flakes. Or, if they're bigger, you might want to go w/ cichlid pellets. They'll also devour frozen blood worms.

I prefer the Omega brand dry foods. And a 50g packet of frozen blood worms will last you a while.
