frozen mysis...how long does it last unthawed?

i have the cubes and i have been using about a quarter cube and thawing it in ashotglass but dont use it all...isit ok to stick the rest in the frigerator and use it later(i only feed it every other day) and how long will it keep

I have kept it for 1 day in the fridge and haven't noticed any problems. Curious to see what others say.

i just kept it for 2 days...if i can keep it a week then im gonna thaw it a week at a time

I don't suggest keeping it thawed for more than a couple of hours, unless your fridge is no more than 2ºC, and even then, a day is pushing it. Because Mysids are such coldwater shrimp, they begin to decompose rather quickly. Trust me, I import over 800 lbs of frozen mysids yearly.
