fry aint food

if there is a litter of fry Zebra Danios in a peacefull community tank, will thar be canabalizm going on in thar.

75 gal

2 Green Corries
2 Albino Corries
2 Pepper Corries
6 Zebra Danios
6 Neon Tetras
4 Swordtails
4 Platties
4 Rasboras
3 Guppies

Absolutely.

Yes. most fish will eat fry. Cories aren't too bad about it, but even they will if the fry are in wiggler stage on the bottom.

i usually call fish fry until they start getting their adult colors or are big enough to hang in the community without being chased constantly.

With that mix... will be surprised if the eggs hit the gravel.

Just lost my last danio offspring from my original batch of adults... 2.5 years old. Breeding can and will happen, but they'll have to have their own space. Even the danio adults will eat the fry if they see them, so cover is important.

That's something I would have a problem with, raising fish to feed them to other fish. I know it has to be done, but I couldn't do it.The ones that can are a lot stronger than I am.

it depends on size of female,if this is her fisrt birth,etc for how many shen can have. you turned your fish vegitarian? thats not very good,seeing as most fish are omnivores.
