Hey what do you guys do with the prolific production of fry? My Mbuna are crossbreeding, and producing on a regular basis now. I don't want to sell/donate them to a lfs, because I think most are hybrids. I've kept a few to replace some deaths that have occurred and have them in a grow out tank, but these guys are breeding like rabbits. So far, I've just let nature take its course. I'm curious what other people do.

I would use them as feeders for other fish or grow them out a bit and feed them to our ducks

Me too....nothing postive has come out of hybrid besides making people rich..and messing up the cichlid trade...

There's a couple of hybrids that are quite beautiful (Dragon Blood Peacocks come to mind) but they really shouldn't, imho, be sold as anything but a hybrid. I have no intention of muddying the waters of the cichlid trade :)

I agree about dragon bloods...they are the hottest selling fish out there...
