I have some fuzzy white stuff on my driftwood. I am assuming it is some type of fungus. I can take the wood out and wash it, but what is the best way to keep it from coming back?

Aquarium Advice Addict
It is a fungus that feeds on proteins in the wood. It will go away once the food source is gone. It will not hurt anyone.
