Hey I'm new to all this GH and KH stuff I've got a fighter 22liter Betta tank

My Question is why is my gh so high why am i getting a high reading compare to my such low kh reading

GH 268.5ppm
KH 71.6ppm
Ph 7.6
High ph 7.4

Could the reason for my gh reading being so high I do add little aquarium salt on my water changes could that be affecting my water hardness therefore giving me a high gh reading

Also are my readings above a little to high for my betta tank what do you guys think?

Thanks

kH is carbonate hardness- calcium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium carbonate and bicarbonate, and carbon dioxide. gH is general hardness- calcium and magnesium ions. Sodium chloride, or aquarium salt, does not affect generalbff hardness.

Your high general hardness could be from your water source, decor, or substrate. It's not bad.

So you don't think I should low it or worry about fish seem fine to me

I didn't think fighters liked hard water
