Going on to the beach

I'm going on vacation from Monday-Friday at Surfside Texas and am wondering if anybody has been there before. I have been going for the past few years and love it but I'm wondering other peoples opinions about it. If you have any good beach photography tips I'd love to hear them too!

Been there many times....my mom & stepdad live in Surfside. For me, this is the stereotypical "Love to visit, but wouldn't want to live there"...... Tropical storm Ike darn near wiped the island off the map.

I'm big into wildlife photography, and can spend days out in the tidal flats.

Ouch! I've seen more then before on south beach this past weekend. Almost stepped on one walking on the beach.

I did that at discovery cove in Florida when i was 7. A experience I never have never forgotten

The coolest part was that they were wild dolphins !
